Rejuvenate
your body,
refresh your mind, and brighten your energy in the Florida sunshine
with yoga, hiking and kayaking. The expansive beaches, intimate trails
and back waters that wind along the Matanzas and Tolomato Rivers
adjacent to St Augustine are an ideal setting in which to enjoy
yourself - body, mind and spirit.
• Join us on Friday evening in our homey,
upstairs kitchen to
enjoy a cozy supper of soup, salad, fresh breads and wholesome spreads.
• Start your day with sunrise practices in the fresh, ocean air at
Anastasia State Park - a protected, unspoiled, 4-mile beach minutes
from Discovery.
• In our bright, airy, yoga studio energize yourself with gentle,
dynamic yoga, wholesome breathing practices, simple meditations, and
deep relaxation. Core instructions, important anatomical cues and
essential joint warm-ups minimize pain, strain and injury while
optimizing your practice.

• We will hike the Guana River Nature Preserve, a
quintessential
Florida forest featuring high canopies of mighty oak trees, magnolias
and palms, and expansive wetlands that are home to a wide variety of
migratory birds, waterfowl, owls, eagles, and hawks.

• Let’s explore the
fascinating backwaters of the Tolomato River on a
half day kayaking tour that may include sightings of manatees, dolphins
and perhaps even a gator.
•
Experiment with yogic techniques for optimizing your activities -
walking in alignment, letting go of worry, expanding awareness, moving
from your core, stillness in motion, connecting with nature, building
strength, slowing down, and being in the moment.
• Finish your day with an evening walk through the exceptionally lovely
historic district of old St Augustine. Enjoy one of the many unique
restaurants and shops that stretch from the bay front to the heart of
the Old Town.
Friday evening supper,
plus Saturday and Sunday breakfast and lunch are included. The program ends after lunch on Sunday.
