As
a profession, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy allows you to bridge the gap
between your career and your spiritual life. Phoenix Rising Training
and
Certification Programs offer a unique opportunity for a fulfilling
career in this powerfully effective healing modality that combines the
best of ancient yogic wisdom with the cutting edge of contemporary
therapeutic insights.
You
will learn to guide clients safely to the edge of deep physical
sensation. Here, with awareness focused on those sensations, you enter
into
dialogue. Rather than try to fix anything, you simply help clients
listen to their body's wisdom — listen without judgment or a need to
change — which helps release underlying emotions or beliefs that often
manifest in chronic aches and pains.

Kate Bentley, Director, Student Support and Community Outreach Coordinator, is a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Practitioner and Teacher.
Kate, along with Jen Munyer, currently runs the Phoenix Rising Training
Center. She also has a private Yoga Therapy practice in Bristol,
Vermont. Kate has been practicing yoga for over ten years and when she’s
not immersed in Phoenix Rising she’s outside exploring, crafting or
hula hooping.
Jennifer
Munyer, MA, LMT has
been immersed in the study and practice of yoga for the past decade. In
her first forward bend, she had an experience that piqued her curiosity
about the relationship between her thoughts and patterns and how they
show up in her body. This curiosity was the cornerstone for all her
studies, including a BS in Psychology from the University of Florida, a
700-hour massage therapy certification, an MA in Health Arts and
Sciences from Goddard College and, of course, a complete immersion into
the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy philosophy and practice. She is
certified as a Professional Practitioner, a Phoenix Rising Yoga Teacher
and a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Group Facilitator. She is honored to
be able to support this organization by teaching programs and assist in
the daily operations of programming.
