As our clients age, they may begin to experience changes in their minds and bodies that create challenges when practicing yoga. Learn how to adapt yoga asanas safely and mindfully to accommodate maturing adults.  

 

We will explore the importance of balance, along with a deeper understanding of the top 8 health concerns that our clients face when aging. Discover how to modify your yoga class for students of all ages by combining therapeutic asanas with the support of props, chairs, and the wall.

About the instructor:

Tracey Eccleston is the Owner & Director of Ageless Arts Yoga in Cambridge, Ontario (Canada). As an E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance certified Yogi, Tracey teaches future yoga instructors and specializes in Chair Yoga. She is the creator of Chair Yoga Therapeutics and co-director of  Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga. Tracey regularly delivers training in Chair Yoga at workshops and seminars across Canada and the United States.
