Join Lori Nadle and
Marion Robinson in a teacher training
workshop designed to explore Yoga
asana, pranayama and meditative
practices which restore balance to
populations experiencing inflammation
in the joints (arthritis). Arthritis
may arise as a result of trauma,
bacterial and viral infections and/or
the process of aging. This workshop
will address the basic anatomical and
physiological changes that are prime
indicators of the issues and the yoga
techniques which offer therapeutic
benefit for the general health and
well-being of the Arthritis
population.The
workshop is geared towards Yoga
teachers who have completed or are in
the process of completing a minimum
200-hour training, as well as students
who would like to deepen their Yoga
practice.
The workshop includes three Master
Classes taught by Lori and assisted by
Marion, each with the therapeutic
essentials to target arthritis. Each
class will address beneficial techniques
for mobilizing and strengthening the
joints within three very different
protocols. The Workshop will give
participants the opportunity to use the
basic underlying therapeutic premise of
each pose to create other viable
versions with modifications suited to
differing levels of students.
