Core
Training (6 hours techniques)
Explore
an in-depth curriculum to open,
lengthen and
strengthen the core of your body. Enhance your practice with fresh
techniques & powerful applications of core strength. Access deep
meditative states through spontaneous stillness & intuitive
movement. $100
Saturday, 7:30-9pm
Listen to Your Heart Song
Chanting
& meditative music for yoga,
movement and
peaceful awareness. Christopher- 12 string guitar & vocals; Steve-
flute, drums, &

Christopher
Baxter,
a practicing
architect
and yogi for more than 30 years, is the
author of "Kripalu Hatha Yoga". As a founding member of Kripalu Center
- the largest yoga training facility in North America -
he was founding director of the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association and
was instrumental in the development of Kripalu Yoga and Kripalu Yoga
Teacher Training. He currently lives in St Augustine, Florida where he
leads teacher trainings, seminars and classes at the Discovery Yoga

A Day
of Meditative Yoga (7.5 hours techniques)
Transform hectic holidays into spacious, healing
holy days by enjoying
a full day of yoga that is calming, comfortable and kind. Catered,
vegetarian lunch included.
$125
The day includes:
- optional 7-8:30 a.m. sunrise yoga class (Bring
a light breakfast - tea will be provided. The main program begins at 9
a.m.)
- periods of silence and time for reflection,
journaling and rest
- meditation instruction for beginners
- use of meditation room for personal,
self guided practice
- guided experiences in which to explore:
- meditative yoga - to find, feel and express
the subtle power of spacious intuition
- tantric pranayama - to raise and focus
energy in the chakras
- shamatha/vipasyana meditation - to calm the
mind and awaken wisdom
- full bodymind breathing - to ventilate and
open the nervous system
- meditative walking - to actively slow down
the busy mind
- sudarshana kriya - to relieve depression and
anxiety
- mantra meditation - the use of chanting to
channel and still the mind
