Jessica Carr Phillips, senior teacher and studio manager of Karma Kids Yoga,
took another road that lead to yoga with kids. First introduced to yoga
as a movement technique during her actor training, she began to weave
yoga into her dance and movement classes for young people.
Jessica was delighted to find that children loved yoga as much as she
did.
Now an avid yogini, Jessica holds teacher-training certificates from
Radiant Child Yoga Program, Next Generation Yoga, Itsy Bitsy Yoga
(Babies), and Karma Kids Yoga.
Whether she’s performing with the National Theatre for Children or
barking in a down dog during a yoga class, Jess loves being with
children. Her silly nature and willingness to improvise
with students makes her a creative and engaging teacher. Jess has lead
drama and yoga programs throughout New York City.
Jessica, also an actress and playwright, lives to play and now, thanks
to Karma Kids Yoga, she plays to live, too
