KUNDALINI YOGA & GONG: INTENTION

with Kim Holton

Saturday, January 26, 2019

10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Join us in a 3-hour experience of movement and sound. We will start the session with an opportunity to set an intention in honor of the New Year.  We'll then focus on embodying your personal intention through the practice of Kundalini Yoga and meditation.

The practice will close with a half hour savasana, or final relaxation, with live gong. Because the tones and vibrations of the gong do not follow a predictable pattern like the repetition of mantra or other musical instruments, the mind cannot make sense of it and will move into a state of relaxed awareness. In this way, the gong is an instrument for creating a spontaneous meditative state that requires the listener to simply let go and give way to the gong allowing for deep relaxation into the joy of simply being.

Open to ALL levels.

TUITION: $35
($40 at the door)
