Teachers can register with the Yoga Alliance as an RCYT if they have
successfully completed an RYT200 yoga teacher training program and this
95-hour children's yoga training program.
Applicants must also submit 30 teaching hours in children's yoga, to be completed after graduating from this program.
Jackie Stanley Morrison,
RYT-200, CYKT, is a Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher,
Certified YogaKids Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist, andCertified Neuromuscular Therapist. An independent yoga instructor, teaching after-school classes in her community, she
reaches children and youth by teaching in the public school system and local
preschools, ages 3-18, and by facilitating professional development workshops
for teachers to incorporate yoga into their daily classroom activities.Jackie leads workshops and Foundations Training with
adults to inspire them to share yoga with their children and the children they
work with. She mentors YogaKids associates within the YogaKids Teacher Training Program
and is a member of the YogaKids Advisory Board. Jackie has also created and
recorded children’s meditations.
“From the moment I attended my first YogaKids
training, I knew I wanted to share the YogaKids way with every child I could
reach.” Jackie feels that the best trainings she leads are co-creations
between herself and the participants. Her goal is not to “teach” you the
YogaKids way, but for YogaKids to become so woven into all aspects of your life
